Under the motto "How can we support students and employees in developing and promoting an entrepreneurial mindset?", the Metaversity team's pitch showcased a virtual tool that is revolutionising collaboration between ZHAW departments. While Metaversity is immersed in a virtual world, the InnovationHub project aims to strengthen synergies between the ZHAW's existing projects and resources. The team realised that the ZHAW has many resources that can be incredibly valuable to young entrepreneurs but are not well known.

In between the impressive pitches, the LED dance group Blackouts provided mesmerising shows. At the buffet, I was able to chat with the teams and other audience members and reflect on the pitched ideas. The jury also used the break to evaluate the projects and give feedback to the seven teams at the end of the evening. Five teams were given the green light for realisation, while two projects could be revised and perfected. This means that the exciting journey continues for everyone.
